Listen - are you breathing just a little and calling it a life?
-Mary Oliver

Welcome

I'm glad you found your way here. My name is Dr. Inez Garzaniti (She/Her). I’m a psychiatrist who practices from a psychodynamic perspective, with attention to emotional depth, meaning, and the ways our histories shape how we experience ourselves and others. My work focuses on understanding symptoms in context — as expressions of what is happening within your mind, your relationships, and our society.

I work with people navigating periods of change, loss, and transition, when familiar ways of coping no longer feel sufficient. Treatment offers space to slow down, reflect, and make sense of what has been carried — often outside of awareness — so that new ways of relating to oneself and others can emerge.

I believe lasting change comes from engaging the deeper roots of emotional life, allowing insight and relationship to support growth that extends beyond symptom relief and into how one lives, loves, and connects.

My practice philosophy

Personalized, Holistic, Compassionate Care

I believe true healing considers the whole person—mind, body, and environment—not just symptoms. My approach combines therapy, medication when needed, and lifestyle strategies to support lasting emotional health.

Therapy is at the heart of my work. Together, we explore the deeper patterns beneath anxiety, depression, and life transitions, turning struggles into insight and growth.
